Directions to the Park
Pinnacles National Park is divided into two sides: East and West.
The West side is accessible from Highway 101 near the town of Soledad, then east along Highway 146 to the Chaparral area.
The East side entrance is reached via Highway 25, south of the city of Hollister, then west on Highway 146.
It is NOT possible to drive through the Park from one side to the other.

Park Hours
Pinnacles National Park is open year round.
Thanks to the willingness of the Park to work with the climbing community and others, the Park is now open 24 hours a day.
(No overnight camping is allowed inside the park.)
While you can come and go as you please on the East Side of the park, the West Side is still subject to entrance hours.
(an automatic gate allows you to exit the West Side at any time)
The Park is open 7 days a week.
East Side: Open 24 Hours
West Side: 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM

Entrance Fees
Pinnacles entrance fees vary based on several factors. The basic fees are listed below. Visit the Park Web site for more details.
Per Vehicle: $15
This fee covers entrance by vehicle to both sides of the monument for seven days, and is valid for everyone in the vehicle.
Walk-in: $10
This fee covers park entrance by foot and bicycle. Children under 16 do not need to pay.
Pinnacles Annual Pass: $25
This pass is valid for twelve months from the month of purchase.

Camping Options
Camping is available at Pinnacles, Inc. Campground on the east side. The campground has a small store, showers and a swimming pool. Visit their Web site for details and to make Reservations or call (877) 444-6777.
Camping is no longer available on the west side of the park, but camping IS available in nearby King City at San Lorenzo County Park.
